Okay so since this is going to be a very long post. I will not be decorating it with font colours and bolding whatever there is...
First off woke up early at 5.15am to eat breakfast, bathe and do some last minute inventory check. After that went down to bus stop at 5.45am to meet with Deepak so we can both take taxi to school together but turns out he is 1 minute late and I already took a taxi when he arrived so he took a separate cab. When I arrived at school, everyone was like carrying huge bags like they are going on a vacation or something...
We all assembled in the indoor sports hall and I wasn't paying much attention so I will be skipping this part to Harbourfront. We arrived at the port and boarded the ferry. (this is Dai Ze's first oversea trip in his life o_O) On the ferry the toilet has no sink, like what the hell?! and I felt sea-sick afterwards so I ate some sweets and we took turns wearing Job's cowboy hat. I flattened it because I slept on it hahax!
After arriving at Karimun the immigration system is screwed up. There is no equality, they only care if you have money... Mr Loh said tragically something happen to one of our friends but when he told us what happened it was not tragic because tragic is normally used if the person is killed in an accident. The immigration officers eat finish rice cannot bang sai so they decided to hold up our friend from Myanmar for fun.
Okay so after our mini lunch we decided to go to the toilet and the queue was freaking long. The toilet was smelly like hell and when I was next in line before Kin Leonn, the instructor became a sexist and told the guys to not pee and let the girls pee instead. Like OMG I waited for so long and endnured the smell just for you to tell me to let the girls pee while I hold it in?! I did not climb the mountain because I sprained my ankle the day before due to a fall I had. Everyone was like saying don't want climb then say lah don't need to make up excuses. If I was lying I would make a better excuse than sprained ankle. It is not my fault you don't have the mental capacity to comprehend a sprained ankle.
So I went back to the hotel with Calandra. We slept on the sofas while Mr. Loh is using his laptop and when I woke up I saw Ms Chee using it haha scare me to death. We both settled in our hotel room while the rest were climbing mt jantan. I slept in the hot water bath for 10 minutes then slept on the bed. After buying instant noodles from the shop opposite of Padi Mas hotel I saw the rest coming back with bruises, scratches, scars and other injuries. Damn I was lucky I just has a sprained ankle instead of looking like being ravaged by an animal.
So I shared my room with Jun Hui, Jasvinder and Kenneth Khor. I bathed first and was the fastest (3 minutes) with soap and everything. Followed by Kenneth Khor then Jasvinder and finally Jun Hui. I was recording a video in the room while Jun Hui was bathing and off the lights several times to irritate him.
We had our dinner(Horrible) and we went to the night market. (Singapore Pasa Malam was wayyyyyy better) We went back to the hotel and then Jasvinder went out till late at night. I was locked out by Jun Hui and then I locked him out after he let his guard down. Jun Hui tried to push Kenneth out and lock him. Kenneth and I called for room service and the food arrived 15-20 minutes later? And still got service charge for late delivery wth... Just chicken burger and fries so long liao...
Watched tv and fell asleep after that. 2 of us shared the bed while the other 2 slept on the floor even when i asked them if they want to use the mattress.
Day 2, we were supposed to assemble at 6.30am (all time used are Singapore time) but then we did not wake up to the alarm. None of us did and we woke up at around 6.20am. We did not bathe, we only packed, changed and brushed our teeth then rushed down. Breakfast was okay I guess.
We went to the Santo Yusof School and it was quite okay luhh... We taught the students English and I noticed the girls are actually more confident and enthuastic than the guys. It rained heavily and we left when it was drizzling. We had lunch after that (bleh disgusting) and our table was dirty because mr I will not name decided to leave the gravy on the table hoping it will disappear and poor Lennard , Peishan , Peggy , Lian Jie and me have to clear and clean the table.
We left the hotel and boarded the bus after that. When we were about the leave the shop girl told the teachers one of the students shoplifted a doll. Seriously a doll?! Who would be so dumb to shoplift a doll?! And we were delayed while the other buses left for the harbour. Turns out later the shop girl found the doll and then we left. This type of people just want to find trouble (because most native Indonesians are racist towards the Chinese). She has no bloody right to stop us from leaving and she is lucky I did not miss the ferry if not she will wish she was never born.
The tickets were mixed up at the ferry and Ms Chee asked me to help her collate the results of the survey while on the ferry (How could I say no especially to a teacher, especially to my teacher). The guy collecting the ticket is damn stupid, Mr Peter told him we were leaving as a group and if we can give the tickets in bulk but he insisted we give him individually. Irritating pig! So when we boarded the ferry, I collated the results and fell asleep, reaching Singapore at around 6pm. HOME SWEET HOME!
Overally I do not enjoy the trip except for some parts and that it was a journey that made us appreciate Singapore more.
